Online auction company CD Auction Group has appointed Andy Brown (pictured) as managing director with immediate effect.
He will take over the role from co-founder, Roger Woodward, who remains with the business as a board director and consultant.
Brown has previously been operations director at Venson Group and Inchcape Fleet Solutions. Most recently he has been managing director of Fourways Vehicle Solutions.
Brown said: “CD Auction Group is a business with great potential and the best online vehicle sales site in the business. I look forward developing our strategy for the industry and building on the success that Roger and the team have created over the past 25 years.
“I have a number of new ideas to further develop our service to our loyal buyer community market but the fundamental ethos of CD Auction Group will not change.
We are friendly, personally managed and committed to offering dealers the best genuine online buying platform in the industry.”
Brown joins the board of CD Auction Group and co-founder Graham Johnstone will remain as chairman, offering strategic advice after more than 40 years in the remarketing industry.
