Dealer group Glyn Hopkin is opening an Infiniti dealership this week in St Albans.
On Lyon Way just off Hatfield Road, the premium automotive brand’s latest outlet is its eighth in the UK. It has been developed to give customer service "more befitting a luxury five-star hotel" says Infiniti.
St Albans will be officially opened at a reception attended by VIPs, brand ambassadors and local dignitaries on Thursday evening.
On show that night until Sunday will be the Infiniti Red Bull Racing car that powered Sebastian Vettel to his Formula One championship driver titles.
Visitors will also have the chance to view the Infiniti FX Vettel – a special limited edition version of the brand’s QX70 luxury SUV developed by the F1 champion in his role as Infiniti’s director of performance.
The weekend will also serve as the launch of the Q50 – Infiniti’s new premium sports saloon – which will be available for test drives.
Fraser Cohen, managing director of Glyn Hopkin (pictured), said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing Infiniti to Hertfordshire and St Albans.
“Infiniti is without doubt one of the most exciting and rapidly growing brands in the global automotive industry and to be playing a part in strengthening its UK presence is a real source of pride for the whole team here.
“The Infiniti range is already packed with exceptional vehicles and there are some truly outstanding new vehicles planned for the next few years.
“Hopefully as many people as possible will visit us over the course of the weekend and experience the Infiniti difference for themselves.
“We have gone to great lengths to ensure we offer an unrivalled customer service experience and I’m confident people will feel that the instant they walk through our doors.”

Not sure where "..one of the most..rapidly growing brands..." comes from: Just 386 registrations in 2013, down over 27% in a market up over 10% tells its own story. Looks like a very expensive long haul to me.
