RDS Global has been acquired by the company’s management team following the sale of its service plan arm to Emac in August.

RDS managing director Chris Smith, who will shortly retire from the company, said: “This is a very positive move for RDS.

“I am delighted to be handing it over to our management team and confident, that under the leadership of Phil Harvey, operations director and Robert Kay, communications director, RDS is well placed for a successful future.”

The management team behind the sale will concentrate on expanding and developing its consultancy and IT services portfolio.
