Ford and Hyundai dealer Arrow Automotive has taken on the Maserati franchise in Cardiff.
The agreement means Arrow will be the sole distributor of the Italian brand across the whole of South Wales and heralds a return of the brand to the region.
Arrow is refurbishing a showroom on the junction of Hadfield Road and Penarth Road and the addition of the franchise to the group’s three volume sites will create four jobs.
Cardiff Maserati will be led up by Joint Arrow Automotive directors Nick Wenger and Paul Rogers.
The dealer group also has sites in Bridgend, Blackwood and Swansea.
Wenger said: “Maserati is the next chapter for us. It’s a unique and welcome addition to the arrow Automotive Group.
“Maserati make beautifully engineered, exciting motor cars. The brand is synonymous with glamour and excitement. We look forward to building another successful dealership worthy of the South wales motoring community.”
David Aldcroft, Maserati North Europe network development manager, said Arrow was chosen for its expansion in South Wales due to its local presence and its progressive attitude to business.
Wenger and Rogers acquired Arrow in 2006 as a Ford specialist and then added the Hyundai franchise in 2009 at its Bridgend site and again at its Swansea showroom in 2011.
