Vindis Skoda in Bury St Edmunds, Simpsons Skoda in Great Yarmouth and Alex Lawrie Skoda in Liverpool were named as the top three retailers across the carmaker's UK network.

Alasdair Stewart, brand director at Skoda UK, said: “More than 50,000 cars were sold in the UK last year, and that’s testament to the outstanding work of our retailers up and down the country.

“I’d like to congratulate all of the winners on their awards, and thank all of the retailers for their continued hard work and dedication - I’m confident that together, we can make 2013 another unforgettable year.”

The Vindis dealership, part of an East Anglian car dealer group, only opened in February last year.
