Harratts, the family-owned and run motor group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Venn (pictured) as its head of operations.

The Wakefield-based company, which has 13 dealerships and employs 300 people across Yorkshire, has appointed Venn to oversee its day-to-day management and evolve the organisation from a thriving family business, to a class-leading motor retailer.

Venn is a former Pendragon franchise director with over 25 year’s industry experience working with brands such as Honda, Volvo, Vauxhall, BMW and Porsche.

Venn said: “We have exciting plans over the next few months that will not only improve the daily operations of the business, but enhance our already award-winning customer service.”
