Peugeot’s hot hatch 208 GTi will be priced from £18,895 for the three-door model which will be available to order from March 1.

First deliveries to customers will be from April 18.

The 208 GTi comes with a 1.6-litre THP 200bhp petrol engine that can push the car from 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds.

Standard equipment includes 17 inch Carbone alloys, red painted front and rear brake calipers, twin chrome exhaust, body coloured rear spoiler, GTi sports seats with black half leather, digital radio and rear parking aid.
