Skoda has confirmed the pricing for its Rapid and Rapid Spaceback Greenline models, which start at £17,535 and £17,195.

Both are available to order now and first deliveries are expected early next year.

The Greenline versions of both models are fitted with a 1.6-litre TDI CR 88bhp DPF diesel engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Both models have emissions of 99g/km and have the potential to do 74.3mpg.

Skoda is expecting both models to attract company car drivers with BIK values of 11% and VED A rating.

Both cars come with 15-inch ‘Carme’ alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres, front fog lights and sunset glass. Inside there is a height-adjustable driver’s seat, air-conditioning and a Maxi-DOT trip computer.

Standard equipment also includes heated door mirrors, height-adjustable head rests and reach-and-rake adjustable steering wheel.
