Peter Vardy will open its six acre used car specialist site CarStore in Braehead, south west Glasgow next month.

The new site will feature over 400 cars from all manufacturers, all displayed indoors in a heated showroom and priced between £2,999 and £29,999.

Building work on the CarStore site has lasted 14 weeks and construction was carried out by Glasgow-based construction business, CBC.

The new site takes Peter Vardy’s dealership portfolio to 11 sites in Scotland.

Peter Vardy, chief executive, said: “The CarStore is designed to be a destination dealership, where people can take their time in comfortable surroundings to find the car of their dreams.”

More than 1,000 people have applied for 70 jobs at the new Hillington-based Peter Vardy CarStore dealership. Peter Vardy held two recruitment events to find the right people to work at the CarStore.
