Vauxhall Motor Holdings, the joint venture between the volume brand and 15 dealerships, has appointed ASE Professional Services as its new auditor.

Motors Holding is a division of General Motors UK Ltd (GMUK) that provides venture capital to entrepreneurs who wish to operate as managing director of their own dealership with the Vauxhall franchise.

ASE will be providing audit and tax services to the 15 dealers which are part of the Vauxhall Motor Holdings joint venture.

ASE were invited to tender for those 15 Motors Holding JV companies and to Motors Holding UK itself, including sites that stretch throughout the UK, from Devon in the South West to County Durham in the North East.

Paul Daly, the lead audit & assurance partner at ASE, said: “The team are looking forward to working with the Motors Holding Retailers, as we have 37 Vauxhall retailers among our current audit and tax clients and the geographical coverage already exists.

“We are confident of a seamless integration to support our new clients across all of their sites.”
