Aston Barclay managing director Tim Hudson has joined the auction firm's global rival Manheim.
Hudson will head Manheim's remarketing and automotive services business in Australia, and will report in to John Bailey.
He had been managing director for almost two years at Aston Barclay, which has auctions in Leeds, Chelmsford, Westbury and Prees Heath.
Previously he had a long career in the fleet sector, including heading Leaseplan International.
Manheim has nine locations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Thailand offering a range of services including remarketing, retail and defleet, as well as an extensive vehicle salvage operation.
