MG has launched its first approved used car programme which includes a 130 point check on every car.

Used examples of the MG6 GT and MG6 Magnettes will be covered by the scheme with prices starting from £9,995.

The programme covers all trim levels, comes with an HPI check and complimentary seven-day drive away insurance. Every car will have a full main dealer service history and a stamped service book will be handed to the customer on delivery of the car.

Richard Bourton, MG’s business & used car sales manager, said: "Initially most of the cars in the programme will be less than a year old and with a reasonable mileage."

MG now has a network of 34 dealerships across the UK and has registered 560 units so far this year in comparison to a total of 360 units in 2011.

The brand is looking to take on more dealers this year.
