Vauxhall expects Approach UK, which has two Vauxhall dealerships, to go into administration before the end of this week.

Vauxhall told AM: “Due to the current economic climate, notice of intention to appoint administrators was given earlier this week in relation to Approach (UK) Limited, which carries on business in Andover and Salisbury, and administrators will be formally appointed by the end of the week.

“All staff working in these dealerships have been notified of the position.”

Vauxhall said if the Andover and Salisbury dealerships close as a result of the administration, it will ensure that customers for new Vauxhall vehicle sales who have paid deposits do not lose them.

Vauxhall will also direct customers to alternative local Vauxhall sites for sales, servicing and aftersales.
