Vauxhall’s new city car will be called Adam and a production version will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in September.
The city car had been codenamed Junior and will see Vauxhall looking to move upmarket to rival the Mini with its own three-door model which will put a heavy emphasis on personalisation features.
Vauxhall has said customers will be able to customise their Adam in more ways than “any other car”.
The Adam is expected to go on sale early next year and prices are likely to start at around £10,000.
