The trend of network downsizing among more mature brands is continuing, as up to 20 Mazda dealers are to lose their franchise, the company’s UK importer has revealed.
MD Jeremy Thomson explained the move would take place “organically” over the next 2-3 years, taking the network down from the current level of 155 sites to around 135.
“It’s not a hard and fast number that we’re aiming for, but it’s in line with our volume expectations and is about creating a sustainable and profitable business for all of our network,” he explained.

After looking at the ugly front end of the all new CX5 I can understand why Mazda UK has lowered its volume expectations. Try having a look at it on their website it doesnt show a frontal perspective.... Best of luck in the showrooms!!!
