Mazda has created a new special edition of its Mazda2 to boost its spring model line-up as dealers wait await new models like the CX-5.

The Mazda2 Venture edition is priced from £12,995 and is based on the five-door hatchback Tamura model with 16-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, sports styling kit, front fog lamps, privacy glass and a rear bumper sports trim.

Inside, there is a Sanyo TomTom navigation system with a 5.8-inch touch screen, integrated Bluetooth hands-free kit, climate control air-conditioning and electric rear windows.

It also features a choice of six special exterior colours, including two unique to this version, dolphin grey and burgundy red.

The Mazda2 Venture Edition costs only £1,000 above the Tamura it is based on. There will be 1,500 examples of the Venture Edition available.

The new model is being offered with 5.9% APR finance until July 31.
