Citroen’s facelifted C1 will be priced from £6,995 which includes a special month long launch discount called “Citroen Reward” when it goes on sale in the UK on April 2.

With the discount the new C1 is priced £1,000 below the entry level Volkswagen Up which is on sale now. The entry level model price will return to £7,995 in May.

In addition, VTRmodels are available from £99 per month with Elect 4 Personal Lease, including one year’s free insurance for drivers aged 21-75. The free insurance offer is also available on VTRmodels funded with Elect 3 finance.

The new C1 is the first Citroen to boast CO2 emissions of 99g/km, making it exempt from the London congestion charge and first year VED and the majority of models in the range can hit 65.7mpg (the 1.0i 68 EGS 5-door VTR+ is the only model that doesn’t, with a still impressive 62.8mpg).
