Inchcape is planning to build a new Volkswagen showroom in Telford after acquiring a 33,000 square foot site.

Colliers International com-pleted the acquisition on behalf of Inchcape Estates and the industrial unit at Stafford Park Industrial Estate also includes two acres of land.

Planning permission has been granted to convert the site into a new VW dealership.

Ben Briant, associate director in Colliers International’s automotive and roadside team in Birmingham, said: “Telford has long been a priority for both Inchcape and Volkswagen to relocate.

“Stafford Park provides an ideal opportunity to develop a new dealership alongside complementary users.”
