GM Europe has confirmed it will end production at one of its plants in Germany in 2016.
The Bochum plant, which employs 4,000 workers, had long been rumoured to face the axe as Europe's car industry continues to suffer from excess production capacity and as GM Europe tries to stem its losses.
The carmaker said it will continue to have a parts production and distribution centre at the site, but no new car is planned for Bochum once the current Vauxhall/Opel Zafira ends production in 2016.

This is a start..... If they closed all their plants they would make more money.
