Vindis Group is opening its new Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle showroom in Northampton with a four day event which will look to engage with business and lifestyle customers.

The event will run from November 6 until November 10.

Leading up to the launch, employees from the Vindis Van Centre team have been attending breakfast mornings at local Travis Perkins outlets as part of a partnership between the two organisations.

The centre will be opened by the Northampton Saints, with director of Rugby, Jim Mallinder, being joined by players, Paul Doran-Jones, Mark Sorenson and Stephen Myler.

Dan Ellis, brand manager at Vindis Van Centre Northampton, said: “Our strategy is clear; we want to create an environment where the business and lifestyle customer receives a retail experience in a dynamic mode.

“For us to integrate with our community we need to appreciate and understand it. That is why our launch week is focused so primarily on creating this environment.”

Vindis also hosted a penalty-shoot out event at the showroom with local junior football teams. All visitors during the event will have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a VW Transporter for the week and to book a free visual health check.
