With sub-zero conditions on the way, Suzuki is launching a new winter tyre promotion, with lower prices on cold weather tyres and a new storage facility.

Prices range from £99 each including VAT on the Alto, up to £199 each on the Grand Vitara.

The tyre storage option, available across its dealer network, includes a wheel and tyre inspection and wheel balance of both winter and summer tyres for a recommended retail price of £49.99.

Aftersales marketing manager at Suzuki, Michael Le-Flay, commented: “When temperatures drop below 7°C, the rubber in standard tyres becomes harder and less flexible, which affects braking and cornering performance.

“The compound used for cold weather tyres, and their tread design, are tailored to cope with adverse conditions, so that the best levels of car control can be maintained.

“Motorists travelling an average annual mileage could get two or three years use from a set.”
