Subaru UK has provided a seasonal boost for its dealers by announcing that all Subaru models will be eligible for a free vehicle inspection and top-up of essential fluids.

Research from the AA suggests that 80% of roadside breakdowns could be avoided if fluid levels were topped-up regularly, so the initiative should prove popular with conscientious Subaru drivers.

The brand is traditionally strong on reliability and its all-wheel drive cars can stay mobile when other motorists might struggle.

Each ‘full visual health check’ by a trained Subaru technician will include checking tyre pressures, as well as topping-up engine and gearbox oil, engine coolant and screen wash.

Haydn Davies, marketing director of Subaru UK, commented: “Winter brings more hazardous driving conditions, with cold temperatures, damp or icy roads and poor visibility.

“We like our dealers to have regular contact with our customers so we hope many of them will make use of this latest offer.”
