Essex Park Hyundai has expanded into a four site group with the opening of its new Romford showroom which is the largest single franchise showroom for the South Korean brand in the UK.

Bill Cook, Essex Motor Company director, cut the ribbon on the new site with Hyundai’s European President, Tak Uk Im.

Cook said: “Owning and operating our other Hyundai dealerships in Southend, Basildon and Chelmsford means we have a close understanding of our region and customer base.”

The 595m square showroom can accommodate up to 17 new models and the business will be catering for retail and corporate customers.

Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, said: “We have launched seven new products this year and it is imperative our dealerships match the quality of our new cars.”
