Peugeot UK has announced that its managing director Jon Goodman will move to Paris in October to become director of media relations for PSA Peugeot Citroën.
His successor has yet to be announced.
Goodman has been managing director of Peugeot Motor Company since June 2009.
He returns to mainland Europe where he has held various positions in previous years.
He was also director of communications for the PSA Group in the UK from 2005 to 2007.
Goodman said: “Whilst I am disappointed to be leaving the UK, this is a fantastic opportunity for me as the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group grows in International stature.
“I have enjoyed my time at Peugeot Motor Company and have been pleased to see market share grow and the UK dealer network consolidate and move forward”.
Jeremy has been a journalist for 30 years, 20 of which have been in business-to-business automotive. He was a writer and news editor on AM-sister brand Fleet News for three years before setting up the AM website. For the last five years he has been Bauer B2B’s head of digital helping to manage the digital assets of AM, together with Fleet News, Commercial Fleet, Rail and Smart Transport.
