The name of the Japanese brand’s new halo model stands for “Boxer engine”, “Rear-wheel drive” and “Zenith”.

The BRZ Prologue will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 13.

Toyota revealed the closest indication of what the new roadster will look like with its FT-86 concept (pictured) at the Geneva Motor Show last year.
