Pentagon Group has appointed Dave Gordon as general manager of its Vauxhall and Chevrolet site in Rochdale, Lancashire.

 

He was previously the general sales manager of Hyundai in Stockport.

Before then Gordon spent 11 years in various roles within Lookers, predominantly with their Vauxhall and Chevrolet franchises.

"I believe that success in retail is detail. By this I mean listening to your customers and finding the best quality vehicle for them at the best price. I find by doing that, customers return again and again," Gordon said.

He also plans over the coming months to expand locally by introducing many new initiatives.

He will introduce a new range of used cars called ‘runabouts’ that will offer older cars too good to trade out.

He will also add a commercial vehicle centre offering local businesses competitive van servicing, repairs and MoT’s alongside a comprehensive range of affordable vans.
