The next generation Kia Picanto will be sold in the UK in three- and five-door forms.
The replacement for the current Picanto, only built as a five-door, will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The new city car will be longer and will have 1.0-litre or 1.2-litre petrol engines.
Kia claims it will have class-leading CO2 emission levels, and will have a bolder, more mature look.
In addition to the standard petrol engines, LPG, bi-fuel and flex-fuel variations will be available globally depending on local market requirements.
The exact timing of the car’s arrival in the UK market is yet to be decided.
