Barrie Dudey is stepping down as CEO of UPD (UK) Ltd after 14 years.
He plans to "develop other business opportunities", although he will continue as chairman of the national network.
Dudey said: “I am extremely proud of the achievements we have made over the years.
"We have worked hard to develop UPD to the prominent position it now holds in the industry with the introduction of innovative solutions and programmes produced to meet the demands of all market sectors."
John Virando, who has been with the automotive distribution network since July 2008 as head of commercial development, has been appointed the new CEO and will take up the position with effect from tomorrow.
