Team Valley Land Rover’s focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence has been recognised by Land Rover UK after it was awarded the Service Centre of the Year title.
The business is now suspending future advertising preferring to rely on customer ‘word of mouth’ to promote the business.
“The reliance on our customers to ‘spread the word’ is a bold move for any business though we believe that if we continue to provide outstanding levels of service at an extremely competitive price then our customers will continue to speak highly of us and come to us – which is what is happening at the moment,” said Graham Hedley of Team Valley Land Rover.
"Recommendation by our customers gives us an added pressure whereby new customers may only come to us for the first time because of recommendations from our existing customers to their friends, family or business associates, we recognise our customers are putting their own reputations on the line by recommending us; we can’t let them down”.
The award was presented by Bill Fennell, customer service director for the Land Rover.
