Milton-Keynes based Wayside Group has taken over Cooks Audi in Peterborough.

The acquisition is Wayside’s fourth Audi site and follows on from its opening of a Skoda dealership in Milton Keynes two weeks ago.

Wayside, a top 50 AM100 dealer, is retaining the team from the Peterborough site, its first operation in Cambridgeshire.

John Caney, managing director, said: “We are delighted to be adding another Audi centre to our group portfolio and look forward to building on the success already achieved by the team at Peterborough.”

The group has three Audi and five Volkswagen centres in addition to BMW, Mini, Skoda and Toyota which it has added to its portfolio over the past 18 months.

Its business spans Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
