Management shuffle at VW Commercial Vehicles

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK has reshuffled part of its senior operational management.

Alastair Hemmings has become the new national fleet manager, while Chris Blue has taken over as national franchise manager, and Matthew Morton has taken Hemmings's previous post as national operations manager.

Matthew Bowden, head of operations, VWCV UK, said: "These appointments are a key part of a reorganisation to prepare for future planned growth of our business and to ensure we always deliver the most valued service to our customers and van centre network."

"It is important we utilise the many years of experience and vast knowledge of the commercial vehicle business within the operations team, as well as develop individual responsibilities and careers," he added.
