Kia Motors (UK) has announced the death of Martin Watts, northern regional franchising manager, on November 9.

He was 59 and had spent 30 years with Rover before joining Kia.

"His sudden passing is a source of great sadness to his family and his many friends and colleagues throughout the motor industry," a Kia spokesman said.

Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
