Lexus’s new CT 200h, a hybrid rival to the BMW 1-Series, will be priced between £23,485 and £30,635.
Customers are able to order their CT 200h now and first deliveries will arrive at the start of 2011.
The new model has CO2 emissions of 94g/km which means customers won’t pay vehicle excise duty and will also be congestion charge exempt.
There will be three equipment grades – SE-I, SE-L and SE-L Premier for customers to choose from.
The SE-I features dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, 17-inch alloys, push button start and LED daytime running lights.
The SE-L adds leather upholstery, heated front seats and front and rear parking sensors. The top of the range SE-L Premier features LED headlamps, cruise control, smart entry system, electrically adjustable front seats, 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, HDD satellite navigation, Lexus Remote Touch multi-function control and a rear parking monitor.
