General Motors is hoping an offer of a two month money back guarantee will win back customers left worried by its bankruptcy.
Buyers in the USA can bring back their new purchase for a full refund within two months if they are not satisfied.
The car must have covered less than 4,000 miles and the owner must be up to date with payments. The offer applies to Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMAC vehicles, and excludes Pontiac, which GM is phasing out.
The campaign runs to November 30.
