Infiniti has confirmed prices for its new EX which goes on sale in the UK in September. Infiniti EX37 GT

The two-model EX range will be priced from £35,200 and is aimed at customers that have "outgrown their coupes".

The EX is available in two forms, the EX37 and the EX37 GT, both equipped with a 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine. Acceleration from 0-62mph takes 6.4 seconds. Customers will get a seven-speed automatic gearbox with manual mode and electronic all-wheel drive as standard on each EX.

Both EX models feature scratch shield paint, electric folding rear seats, 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, Bluetooth, adaptive xenon headlamps plus LED rear lights, electrically adjustable front seats, iPod connection and rear privacy glass.

The UK is also one of the first among Infiniti’s global markets where the EX comes with the multi-media Connectiviti information and entertainment platform.

In optional Connectiviti+ satellite navigation form, owners will get an integrated Michelin Guide which shows scenic tours, tourist attractions, museums, hotels and restaurants. The Connectiviti+ also includes automatic warnings for stationary speed cameras and an options to recalculate routes to avoid traffic jams.

EX deliveries

The Infiniti EX can be reserved online now at www.infiniti.co.uk. Deliveries are due to begin in September when the UK’s first Infiniti centre, run by Rymco UK in Reading, opens its doors.

The EX is one of Infiniti Europe’s five-model line-up which also includes the G37 Saloon, G37 Coupé, G37 Convertible and FX line of performance crossovers. All are also due on sale in the UK this year at the same time.
