Brighton Mitsubishi has been taken over by three former employees in a management buyout.
Former dealer principal Michael Evans, aftersales manager Kevin Constable and sales manager Tony Peters have formed Evolution Sussex, but will continue to trade the business as Brighton Mitsubishi.
It bought the company for an undisclosed sum from Court and Smith, which has left the retail motor trade according to new managing director Michael Evans.
Turnover last year was around £6 million, with expected turnover in 2009 to be around £4.5 million. Evans hopes to reach pre-recession figures by 2011.
