Online car retailer Autoquake has opened its distribution and handover site in Leeds.
With capacity for 10,000 cars a year, the facility is 250,000 sq ft and has six-acres indoor space.
Running alongside its existing site in Birmingham, there are plans to open another site in the London region in the middle of 2009.
Autoquake chief executive Garry Hobson said: “The new Leeds facility will play an integral part of the business as we upscale throughout this year and the years to come.”
He added: “We have seen a rapid expansion of our business since launch proving that consumers have taken to the idea of buying vehicles online.
“We have seen a sevenfold increase in our sales between 2007 and 2008, and we’re expecting sales to exceed 15,000 units this year.”
