Land Rover is adding a sports styled Freelander 2 for the 2010 model year.

Badged Freelander 2 Sport and priced from £26,695, it has 19in alloy wheels, two-tone interior, rear spoiler and colour-keyed exterior trim.

An up-spec derivative will also be offered with a sports styling pack and leather interior.

It will be powered by Freelander's 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine, which has stop-start technology with manual transmission (emissions 179g/km CO2, 42.2mpg combined economy).
