Andrew Wady is to join Citroen UK as its new fleet director on November 18.
The appointment follows a minor internal shuffle which saw Citroen marketing director Ian Hughes relinquish responsibility for fleet sales to focus solely on marketing.
Reporting to managing director, Gary Savage, Wady will be responsible for national fleet, business sector and commercial vehicle sales, as well as vehicle remarketing.
Wady was most recently with Audi UK, where he was national contract hire & leasing manager. He has also worked at BMW (UK) and Ford Motor Company in various fleet roles.
Wady said: “Citroen is continuing to expand its fleet offering and is investing heavily in its future success, so there’s enormous opportunity to grow our fleet sales market share and volumes in the coming years.”
Citroen has a 4.45% fleet market share in September and the arrival of Citroen’s new DS3, DS4 and DS5 model range arriving soon, Savage is expecting much stronger fleet sales over the next few years.
