On the last weekend of September, Bentley owners and enthusiasts descended on its Crewe base for a huge sale of components.
The Heritage Parts Event was organised to "raise awareness of the huge diversity of parts we have available,” said Steve O’Hara, aftersales operations director.
The warehouse encompasses 143,000 square feet and was stocked with more than 55,000 part lines, some of which date to 1955. The sale held out to owners and enthusiasts the promise of access to an incredibly diverse inventory, from a single screw to various body panels to complete engines.
To encourage owners to make the trip, Bentley offered discounts that ranged from 15% to 60% off dealer retail prices, plus 12-month warranty.
More than 500 owners attended from the UK, Germany, Hungary and USA.
O’Hara said Bentley sold about £100,000 worth of parts during the weekend.
