Ford has added a new automatic twin-clutch transmission to its Focus and C-Max model line-up called Powershift.

PowerShift is available on either the Focus or C-Max ranges and with the 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine with 134bhp or 108bhp power variants.

Ford said all Focus models equipped with PowerShift can do 48.6mpg with an average 154 g/km carbon dioxide.

The Focus with Powershift starts from £18,195 for the three-door dr Zetec, 108bhp 2.0 TDCi. The C-Max with Powershift starts from £19,895 for the five-door Zetec, 108bhp 2.0l TDCi.
