The Jaguar XJ TDVi was launched late in 2005 and was the long-awaited diesel large Jaguar.
It boasted class-leading refinement and the lightweight aluminium body meant it felt as athletic as any large saloon.
Choosing a large car for stock is always risky in these difficult times, but the 40mpg XJ diesel in pristine condition could be a chance to turn a profit and offers a feel-good factor for the buyer.
