Bill Glover has been presented with a ‘long service’ award after spending 21 years with Blue Bell BMW in Winslow.

Glover was given the award by Sue Brownson OBE, managing director of the Blue Bell Group.

"The fact I've stayed at Blue Bell for so long probably says a lot more in itself than anything else - I love working here and I enjoy the family business feel to it," said Glover, now sales administration manager.

"It was a very different business - both Blue Bell and the car retail industry - when I joined. Both the way people buy and the way we sell cars has changed enormously: customers are massively knowledgeable, and our staffing levels have grown substantially to meet the demand of people who know exactly what they want," he added.
