Repair and servicing quality levels of Ford dealers has significantly improved since RAC audits on the dealer network began in 2005.
RAC carries out 6,000 audits a year through 700 dealers, with up to 10,000 Ford vehicles inspected annually.
RAC Inspection Services carry out a quality check on customer-owned vehicles, which are in the dealership for service or repair work. The check confirms that the work carried out by the ford dealer meets standards set by Ford.
Ford intends to extend its quality programme, to make it part of an enhanced FordService brand, which will offer a unique customer proposition for Ford owners.
