Nissan will launch a special version of the 150PS 2.0dCi X-Trail, known as ARCTIX Sports Adventure, which will provide additional specifications and automatic transmission for a price close to the standard manual version.

The ARCTIX, priced at £21,995, will have roof rails and lamps with snowstorm side steps. The ARCTIX eXpedition model, at £22,995, will also have satellite navigation and colour rear view camera.

The models are being marketed for the winter ski season, and are described by Nissan as ‘the ideal long distance traveller’.

Vehicles wll be available from January 2008.
