Renault is reacting to the threat of a host of new arrivals in the coupe-convertible sector by revising its Megane range.

All Megane Coupe-Cabriolets receive extra equipment for no extra cost, with air-conditioning and a CD player now standard on the entry-level Extreme – previously £800 optional extras.

Also new to the range is a Dynamique S trim level which costs £270 more than a Dynamique but includes leather seats and metallic paint as standard – options worth £1,000.
