Alton Cars has been appointed the accident repair partner for franchised dealer Mercedes-Benz of Harrogate, part of Rybrook Holdings.

On contacting the dealership following a crash, all customers will be referred to the Leeds-based independent bodyshop group.

Gordon Hunter, the dealership’s service manager, says it is essential that all accident repairs reflect the high quality of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Deciding factors included Alton Cars’ long history, numerous award wins and 100% rating in the RAC’s repairer audit standard.

Tony Parish, chairman and managing director of the £7.5m turnover repair group, also operates Minster Coachworks in York and Knaresborough Body Repairs in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

He says: “Our business has been built on customer satisfaction, which we regard as paramount. We look forward to a long relationship with Gordon.”
