Harrogate motor retailer Nidd Vale Group has reported continued growth with turnover up 10% to £38.14 million for the six months to the end of July.
New and used vehicle sales rose by more than 7% to 3,125 units, while parts sales were up 21% to £1.87m. Turnover for the service operation was up by 27% to £1.5m.
Colin Hainstock, Nidd Vale chairman and chief executive, said: "These are very satisfactory figures, given the very competitive conditions in which we operate. We have a daily focus on how we are performing and a great team of people who make these results possible.
"The key thing is that the business is continuing to progress in line with our plans set out at the time of the management buyout in 2003, with rising profits and a reducing level of debt."
