Specialist Cars Audi has changed its name to Aberdeen Audi to coincide with the completion of its £1.5 million redevelopment.

It has opened its new John Clark Motor Group showrooms on Abbotswell Road in East Tullos, Aberdeen and is now in line with Audi’s policy to have dealer names the same as the town they are located.

John Clark, chairman and managing director of the John Clark Motor Group, said: "Despite the disruption of the redevelopment, Aberdeen managed to secure the top position for sales of new Audis in Scotland over the last quarter, with Dundee close behind in second place.

"It’s achievements like that which have encouraged us to invest £4 million in providing our Audi teams with the facilities they need to build on these achievements. The opening of Aberdeen Audi will be followed, in November by the new £2.5 million Dundee Audi dealership."
