Rachel Smith, Capital Bank Motor’s marketing manager, has secured a sponsorship deal with Johnson Fitness for her attempt to smash the current British record for women’s rowing across the Atlantic.

Smith and fellow rower Lin Griesel will attempt the 2,935-mile journey in November 2007, raising funds for Breast Cancer Care.
